Terms of use
What this service is, what it is not, and what you are agreeing to when you register.
What this service does
It accepts an application for an ESG clearance certificate, records the evidence you submit, puts it before an evaluator, and issues or refuses a certificate under the authority named on the certificate. It is a record of an administrative act. It is not advice, and nothing here is a rating, a recommendation or an opinion on any security.
Your account
One account belongs to one person and is bound to one organisation. You are responsible for what is done under it. Tell us at once if you believe it has been used by someone else. Accounts are deactivated, never deleted, so the record of what was done under them survives.
What you submit
You confirm that the details of your organisation match its registration with the Corporate Affairs Commission, that the benchmark figures are your own most recent reporting period, and that the audit package supports them. Submitting figures you know to be wrong is grounds for refusal and for revoking a certificate already issued.
Fees
The fee is the tier fee, the admittance fee, any on-site observation fee and VAT, at the schedule in force on the day you pay. The amounts are fixed on your application at that moment, so a later change to the schedule does not change what you owe. Payment is what sends your package for review. Re-submitting after a revision request does not require a second payment. A withdrawal does not refund a fee already paid.
Decisions
A certificate is issued only when an evaluator recommends it and a second officer authorises it. A refusal follows the same path. Both are published as a decision record with the basis. A certificate is valid for the period printed on it and may be revoked, again under two authorisations, if the basis for it turns out to be wrong.
Availability
We do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Where a payment has been taken and the service is unavailable, your application and its paid status are unaffected: they are recorded in one transaction, so an action either completed or did not happen at all.
